The search page was built by developers and design was not considered. The idea behind my layouts was to consider the user so that it makes it easier for them to find what they are looking for. All these different layouts improve the user experience, from a simplified filtering system to a fun and helpful FAQs section.
The challenge for this project was to create a new version of the home page with image/video options, and content blocks for each of these subjects:About National University, Military Friendly, Transfer Friendly, Affordability/Financial Aid, Accessibility. The UX goal was to create a new template that could be used to support content featured on new NU.edu landing page. The page needed to have the same header/footer as the current NU.edu home page, but the layout of the content area could align with the new home page design/look & feel.
